It's here! Norma Roth’s newest
addition to her expanding collections of poetry. CHANGING
LANDSCAPES of our Lives is the third book of poems with a new twist on her
own work. What makes this anticipated
book so different than the others is that Changing
Landscapes is the first collaboration for Roth. Moreover, her first poetry collaboration with
a lifelong friend, photographer, Evelyn Bernstein.
As with all of Roth’s books, she writes for an adult
audience yet teenagers upwards can benefit from her work. This is most notably experienced with Roth’s
first, non-fiction, book: Aging Gracefully with Dignity, Integrity
& Spunk Intact: Aging Defiantly: Including Ten Tips to Keep People Off Your
Back, Roth speaks directly to and specifically about the dynamic, new
Silver Generation, people who have the ability and opportunity to shape an
entirely new and exciting paradigm about aging.
Roth’s other non-fiction book, Journey Into A Dark Past, Land of My Ancestors: Budapest, Vienna &
Prague explores her family history through two trips to Europe: one journey
with her parents, focused on their youth during the years of the Holocaust
while the other trip explores the culture and history of that time period. The experience leaves Roth unsettled and
wondering, ‘If it happened there, can it happen where I live?’
Known for her poetry, Roth’s other two poetry books are
also of a personal nature and a reflection for the seasoned audience. In Scenes
From a Summer House: The House That Waited & Other Poems, Roth finds time
and space are unlimited; while in Fear,
Trembling & Renewal: Poems to Age With, she explores a perspective of
optimism and renewal.
